Julia Randell-Khan is a Consulting Fellow on the inter-disciplinary New Map of Life™ initiative at Stanford Center on Longevity. Julia transitioned from a long legal career to a fellowship at Stanford University’s Distinguished Careers Institute. Julia’s interest in later life transition includes her Senior Fellow role at Encore.org, the leading non-profit in the encore career movement, where she helps build global connections. In the UK, Julia has founded Encore Fellows UK with Prof Andrew Scott from the London Business School (and co-author of The 100 Year Life and The New Long Life) to offer experienced workers encore careers in the social sector.
Julia spent over 25 years in the legal field, as a practicing lawyer in international banking at Norton Rose Fulbright moving to a pioneering knowledge management role at international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Julia is an active mentor working closely with Fair Trials, a human rights NGO. She set up Women in Transition as a network to support growth and development from change as senior women transition from long-term careers to the next phase of life.
